Current research, best practices and a review of South Carolina policy and practice reveals kinship caregivers have specific resource needs that differ from foster and adoptive parents.
This year’s focus will be Engaging Biological Parents with Kinship Families. The Keynote Speaker will be Joseph Crumbley, Ph.D. He is a social worker with experience in private practice and clinical areas including adoption, foster care, couples therapy, and abuse. Recent areas of focus have included kinship care and transracial adoptions.
Lunch and Continuing Education Units will be provided for participants.
