The SCPSAC Board is seeking new state board members for the upcoming 2017-2020 cycle. To have an array of expertise, perspective, and connections on the board, we seek diversity across disciplines, organizations, experience level, etc. If you are motivated to contribute further to the multi-disciplinary mission of promoting children’s wellbeing in SC and reducing maltreatment and other harms, that is the Primary Qualification! State board members are expected to participate in 4 meetings annually (in person or online) to help set priorities for the organization and then provide support and input to accomplish tasks related to our priorities …
this may mean assisting in planning or running small regional meetings, representing SCPSAC at local events or conferences, providing information and resources from your discipline or organization to help the board see the big picture in setting goals, etc.
State board members must be National-level APSAC members during their three years of service–you can be a current National member or can join upon election.
Email the current President, Kate Chappell, at email@example.com NLT 7/14 with a bio paragraph and any questions you have about board service if interested in serving. The Board will be posting the online election with nominees the week of 7/17 so we need to hear from you ASAP if interested!
